LUBBOCK, TX — As Texas Tech Softball heads into the College World Series Championship, they’re getting some of the loudest support from the smallest fans.

Pediatric patients at Covenant Health showed off their school spirit this week with handmade signs and heartfelt messages, all cheering on the Lady Raiders as they prepare to face Texas in a highly anticipated championship matchup.

From hospital beds and playrooms, these young fans held up signs that read “Good Luck Texas Tech” and “Go Tech, Hit it out the Park!”—proving that Red Raider pride knows no bounds, even in the hospital hallways.

One smiling patient held a sign with a softball drawing and bold red letters, while another stood proudly beside their hospital bed with a decorated poster that simply said it all: “Go Texas Tech!”

Covenant Health shared the images to social media, with the caption: “Tiny fans, big spirit!” The post quickly gained attention from the Lubbock community and beyond, reminding everyone that encouragement can come from the most unexpected places.

As Texas Tech steps onto the field tonight, they do so knowing that a group of brave, resilient kids are cheering them on from their hospital rooms, filled with the same strength and fight that defines Raider Nation.
